Ticket notifications

How can potential ticket buyers be notified when tickets become available for a sold out event?

Potential ticket buyers can now sign up to receive ticket notifications on Resident Advisor. Once an event is entirely sold out in all tiers, a toggle will appear above the ticket window allowing your potential ticket buyers to sign up to receive an email when another ticket is put up for resale.

The number of customers signed up to ticket notification for your event can be found via your Ticket Management page, under ticket notification signups:

Customer FAQs:

How can I unsubscribe from ticket notifications?

Please visit the event page in question whilst logged in to the account you are subscribed to. From here you can use the toggle to unsubscribe.

I am signed up for ticket notifications, but when I went to the event there was no ticket to purchase.

Unfortunately, another ticket notification subscriber must have beaten you to it. Don’t worry, you are still subscribed to ticket notifications and will receive another notification when one becomes available.

I never received a ticket notification email even though I signed up.

Emails are sent in waves based on who first signed up for notifications, so you may have joined later in the queue. The email may also have been sent to your junk/spam inbox. Additionally, we only send the emails when someone adds their ticket to the resale queue, not when a promoter increases allocation.

Will I be automatically unsubscribed from ticket notifications when I buy a ticket?

Yes, you will be automatically unsubscribed from ticket notifications once you have made a successful purchase. If you wish to purchase more, please resign up via the event page.

When will I be able to receive push notifications?

The ability to sign up within the RA Guide and receive notifications direct to your mobile will be coming soon.
