Customer FAQs

You can share these FAQs with your customers should they have any questions regarding Queue-IT:

Why didn’t I get a ticket?

There has been a huge uptick in demand for tickets this year and this has unfortunately meant it is more difficult to secure tickets for certain events than in previous years.

We are sorry you were unable to purchase a ticket during the on sale but please keep checking the event page as more tickets may become available via our resale feature. When someone puts their ticket up for resale, their ticket enters the resale queue and can then be purchased just like any normal RA ticket.

Why did I have to get in a queue?

During periods of peak demand (i.e when significant numbers of people try to buy tickets for an event at the same time), we set up queueing systems to manage the high volumes of incoming traffic by placing ticket buyers in a queue. This prevents the site from overloading, and ensures the ticket buying process is as smooth and fair as possible.

I arrived really early, before it went on sale - why wasn’t I first in the queue?

Anyone who visits the event page prior to tickets going on sale will be placed in a waiting room. Once the tickets go on sale, the waiting room will close and everyone in it will be randomly assigned a place in the queue.

Anyone who visits the event page after tickets have gone on sale (and the waiting room is therefore closed) will join the back of the queue on a first come first served basis.

How do I get a ticket now?

Keep checking the event page as more tickets may become available via our resale feature. When someone puts their ticket up for resale, their ticket enters the resale queue and can then be purchased just like any normal RA ticket.

Can I buy a ticket from someone selling it online?

Do not buy tickets from Facebook, Ticketswap, Viagogo or any other ticket selling websites. These tickets will be fake, as we do not issue the ticket barcodes until 48 hours before the event. The only way to safely purchase tickets is through RA resale.

What If I can no longer go and want to sell my ticket?

To add your ticket to the resale queue:

1. Go to ‘My Tickets’
2. Locate the order you wish to resell and click ‘View Tickets’
3. Go to ‘Resale’, enter your RA password and click ‘Resell Ticket’

This will add your ticket to the resale queue. If your ticket sells, you will receive a confirmation email and a refund amounting to the face value of the ticket.

If you’re an event promoter or event organiser and you still need help, go to RA Pro and login. Then use the “Help” button in the corner to contact us.
