RA’s Automated Marketing Tools

On RA, there are a number of free automated marketing tools available to help promote your event to new and existing audiences.

Tagging artists on your line up & artist followers:

On RA, artist pages have followers. When you tag artists correctly, the followers of the artist who happen to be in your region will get a push notification via the RA Guide app, as well as a ‘Just Announced’ email.

If you navigate to the line up on the 2nd page of the event submission process you will see an (i) icon above the line up section in the event submission process that explains exactly how to tag your artist.

For example, if you tag Helena Hauff or Ben UFO in your event in - let's say - Berlin, their followers who are based in Berlin will receive the following notifications:

RA's event listing and saved events:

On RA’s event listing, the ‘For You’ and ‘New’ tabs show events picked for customers based on who and what they follow, as well as events that have been newly announced, respectively.

Customers can now save events they are interested in while browsing the listing. These bookmarked events can be accessed by clicking on the bookmark icon at the top of the event listing or by clicking on the username and heading to Saved Events.

Spotify integration:

Tagging your artists also enables your event to show on your artist’s Spotify profile, as part of our Spotify Integration. This gives events additional visibility and reach, as events are put in front of users that are typically more engaged, i.e. they’re already actively listening to electronic music. Spotify will also push a notification when tickets have been uploaded for the artist users are listening to.

SoundCloud integration:

Similar to the Spotify integration, RA events will now be displayed on the SoundCloud homepage and on SoundCloud artist profiles. An artist’s next three RA events will automatically pull through onto their SoundCloud artist profile, provided they have their RA artist profile linked on their SoundCloud artist profile. This means that promoters can now benefit from increased exposure and additional ticket sales via SoundCloud.

Genre tags:

While submitting your event, you can make use of RA’s genre tags. RA functions as an event discovery platform, so some of our customers browse events using genres. If you tag your genres, your event will show up when customers filter for a particular genre. Adding genre tags will not only benefit your event ranking on RA, but also your page ranking on Google's SEO.

Promoter and venue followers:

Your promoter page acts as your portfolio, where customers can discover what you and your events are all about. Users can choose to follow your promoter page by clicking the ‘follow’ button on the right hand side. The same goes for venue pages.

By following a promoter or venue page, customers will receive an email and a push notification, every time you upload an event with tickets:

Downloading your customer data:

You may want to access your customer data for a number of reasons, one of which is to add subscribers to your mailing list for marketing purposes. When customers buy a ticket, they automatically opt-in to marketing. In order to download this data, please refer to our customer data guide here.

Abandoned basket email:

RA sends out an email to customers that have left tickets in their basket, i.e. have not completed the checkout process. An example of this email is below:
